We supply and install a range of composite doors and side panels with feature or flat panels.
Made to individual sizes our composite doors are sturdy and durable. The door surfaces are manufactured from gel-coated glass reinforced plastics (GRP) or from high performing thermoplastics and a high density polyurethane thermally insulated core. A specially designed 70mm extruded PVC-U frame incorporates a double rebate within the profile which offers an internal flush appearance.
The features and benefits of composite doors are weather resistance, security, easy maintenance, durability and energy saving as well as an aesthetically pleasing appearance. A wide variety of styles are available to suit any home. The design of our composite doors has provided uniquely co-ordinated details including threshold, door frame and weather bar which combine to give a truly striking appearance. Customers can choose from the oak or dark wood options in a wide range of available door styles.
There is also the option of side panels which provide a choice of seven different designs, dozens of glass options and a letterbox. Our composite doors carry an energy certificate which means that customers are able to do their bit by saving energy, reducing their fuel bills and reducing their carbon footprint thus helping to save the plant.
Styles & Colours
The Composite Doors can be made as individual as customers wish. There is a choice of seven door leaf colours i.e. white, black, blue, red, green, oak, dark wood; colour all round options and six frame colours white, mahogany, cherrywood, oak, white-grain, brown–black. All of which can be configured with gold, chrome or black hardware.
Composite doors are available glazed with 24mm double glazed toughened/laminated sealed units. 28 mm low emissivity sealed units are used in top apertures and fully glazed panels for improved thermal performance.
Enhanced security is provided by the incorporation of a steel mesh in the core, where appropriate.
Choose from three entirely different lock and furniture suites. Our composite doors are fitted with Yale multipoint locking mechanisms (Secured by Design).
All Composite Doors, whatever the frame material, require a minimal amount of maintenance if only to clean the surfaces of everyday dust and grime. All moving parts such as handles and hinges should be checked annually and lubricated appropriately, where necessary. All surfaces should be wiped clean using a mild detergent in water at three monthly intervals. Abrasive or corrosive cleaners and materials must not be used.
