History of property

Built in 1890 this rather pristine residential property was formerly a factory engaged in wool production.

Reasons for replacing windows

This 122 year old house had pvc-u windows which did not flatter the property and were in a bad state of repair. Mrs Powell said that as a result of the poor condition of the windows the property was very cold.

Reasons for choosing the Timber Windows brand of products

Mr & Mrs Powell chose the TimberWindows brand of wooden windows and door on their appearance and performance.

Ten traditional sash windows with astragal squares, two flush casement windows with horizontal astragal bars and a French door in a white paint finish were installed in the property.

Reasons for choosing Orchard Conservatories, Windows & Doors

Orchard was chosen because they are a local company with an excellent reputation for quality service and workmanship.

Testimonial

Mrs Powell said “We are very happy with the windows and door that were supplied and installed by Orchard. They are an attentive, conscientious firm that is good at communication with regard to details. Since the new wooden windows have been installed the property is much warmer and more comfortable. We have no hesitation in recommending Orchard Conservatories, Windows & Doors to our family and friends.”
